SheetSmith

SheetSmith makes messy CSVs usable

Upload a CSV, run a tool, and get a clean file back. Everything is stored in a "sheetsmith.app" folder that SheetSmith creates in your own Google Drive — nothing is copied anywhere else.

Your files stay yours

Everything you upload lives in a "sheetsmith.app" folder inside your own Google Drive, not on our servers.

One click to clean

Upload a CSV and de-duplicate it in seconds — no spreadsheet gymnastics.

Nothing else is touched

SheetSmith only ever sees files you upload through it — never the rest of your Drive.

How it works

  1. 1. Sign in with Google. SheetSmith asks only for the Drive “drive.file” scope, plus your basic profile — never full Drive access.
  2. 2. Upload a CSV. Your file is saved into a folder named “sheetsmith.app” that SheetSmith creates in your own Google Drive. Nothing outside that folder is ever touched.
  3. 3. Run a tool. Pick a tool (like de-duplicating rows) and SheetSmith writes the result back to your “sheetsmith.app” folder as a new file, leaving your original untouched.
